“A very early, high-quality cabbage. The dense, solid heads are spherical, 5-7 inches in diameter and weigh 3-5 pounds. Plants are very compact relative to the size of the heads, allowing closer spacing than some varieties. Fine for coleslaw, stir-fries, and other fresh uses; not usually considered an excellent storage type. One of the earliest types we sell, and popular since at least the 1920s.”
